手術順利 / Sugery Successful .. hopefully
謝謝大家的關心與慰問, Chris 昨天順利完成他的手術. 目前正在醫院恢復當中.
Big thanks to those who visited and have asked, Chris completed his knee surgery yesterday and is in the hospital recovering.
手術原本計畫一小時, 兩個 scope 進去看後 (一個從內側, 一個從後方) 確定是義大利醫生所說的, 內部結構有洞, 所以膝蓋液體到處流.
Original surgery was scheduled for one hour. With two scopes (one from the inner side, and one from the back of the knee), the surgeon has confirmed the diagnose of the Italian Dr - there are two holes in the knee structure which allows synovial fluid to flow all over.
醫生依 scope 為導覽, 再從外側開刀修補.
The Dr. use the scope as guide, then make incision on the lateral side to repair.
修補後, 醫生在做肌肉檢查. 發現有多處肌肉分離 (我猜想分離及斷裂是不同方向的, 也許成九十度角?). 又花了三個小時修補.
After repairing, The Dr. also did a thorough check of muscles around the knee. Discovered "many" muscle separations. Took him another three hours to repair.
12 點半進去, 包括麻醉即恢復, 4點半才出來. 我總共看了大約 100 次國二高連環車禍新聞. 很為傷亡者家屬沮喪.
He went in at 12:30, including anesthesia and recovery, he came out 4:30. I watched the same HW accident report about 100 times. Felt really depressed for the families who lost their love ones.
手術後很痛. 他也向大小孩一樣的一直叫護士小姐加打止痛藥.
It hurts a lot after the surgery, he kept asking the nurse to give him more pain killer.. just like a kid.
今天手術後復健醫生要他開始作活動範圍的復健. 更是痛的他哇哇叫.
The post-surgery physiotherapist requested him to start doing range-of-motion physio. Very painful.
我就提醒他八年前我也有做手術割除腫瘤, 他竟然多次遲到來看我. 現在他知道手術不好過,他平平道歉. (舊帳總有一天是要算的嗎! :P)
So I reminded him how he was late to visit when I was having my surgery 8 years ago to remove a cyst. Now he realizes how painful and difficult it is to go through surgery, he kept on apologizing.
這幾天我又得扮演護士, 便當外送小弟, 清潔工... 還要假裝很有耐心及愛心。 是我人格一大考驗。
So these days, I have to be a nurse, lunch-box deliverer, cleaning person. I also have to pretend to be patient and caring. A tough test to my personality.
