Hi everyone!

This is Kerry. I am 20 turning 21 years old this coming May18! :) I started riding only about August last year so im still quite new to the sport. After taking Chris's advise on the training programme, i have came out with one that suits my lifestyle (because i believe everyone has a different training programme that suits them best). I also have to take into consideration that i have to work part time in the afternoon (supposed to start at 10am but i told the guy i will only come at 12pm so that i have time to cycle in the morning! :D)

So far this is a rough idea of my training for the past 2-3weeks:

Mondays
Mondays are usually a rest day for me. Either that or i will hit the gym with a couple of my cycling buddies.

Tuesday
Interval trainings in the morning. There is a long stretch of coastal road along the airport runway about 8km long which i think is a good place to train (can watch planes take off too!). Only bad thing is that there are some strips on the road which might get really bumpy. Sometimes i will do 15mins rest 10mins or 5mins rest 5mins, for about 4-5sets (is it enough?)

At night a group of us will gather for a short session of "Chain gang". The pace is about 38km/h to 45km/h.. covering roughly 40km in distance.

Wednesday
I will rest in the morning. At night, i will be doing some hill/strength training. Actually there isn't really any hills, just some small slopes! But i will try to use a heavier gear ratio to push myself up. About 10 loops of it and we will call it a day...

Thursday
Interval trainings in the morning. But follow Chris's advise of going shorter. Do 1min rest 5mins.

At night, same short session of chain gang as Tuesdays.

Friday
Usually recovery rides. Sometimes when i feel like it, i will head to Mt Faber (Highest climb in Singapore! But sadly its only 100+m in height!) About 5-8 loops and i have to head home or else i will be late for work...

Saturday
Saturday mornings i will usually join a cycling group called "Joyriders" for something like a breakfast club ride. There will be as many as hundreds of cyclist sometimes so its quite fun to feel how its like cycling in a peloton. Distance is about 70-80km.

Sunday
Same breakfast ride but different route. Sunday is slightly further covering more than 100km. Normally after the ride i will hit Mt Faber with some of my friends.

My small bike corner at home

At a food center after a usual Saturday ride

Sorry as you can see i dont really have many photos now. Will try to take more next time! :)
