UCI 於 2010 年正式禁止車隊使用無線電儀器.
UCI 禁止無線電儀器的目的是希望競賽的本質能回歸於仰賴選手們的團隊默契及直覺.
一些專家認為使用無線電可預告選手前方危險路況, 但也有專家認為路況預告時常造成選手們為了預先卡位提高速度增加排擠.
